it's a GFX-card---> it does all the graphics (the voodoo on the PIV only does
the 'threedee' stuff)

i gues that's right, since the pixelclock has to do more cycles

overheating produces all sorts of errors/crashes. I had a lot of problems with
graphics
corrupting.

why do you want truecolor? 16 bit is more than enough for every conceivable
app
and works faster/uses less memory. (i don't have any 24 bit modes)
